The next general meeting will be Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Eagan Center on the lower floor, near the vending machines. The time is set for 11:40am.
We’ll be covering the May LC tests and trial, Committees, and Summer events. All are welcome to join us!

We will be discussing up coming events… lure coursing tests and trials in May and July, and possible earth dog events.

Our next B Match will be March 8, 2008 at the Chugiak Benefit Assoc building in Chugiak, Alaska.
Set up will start at 9am.
Obedience will start at 10am. Sign up will begin at 9:30am. We are offering Novice A and B and Pre-novice.
Conformation will start at 11am. Sign up will begin at 10am. We are offering Puppy 6-9mo, Puppy 9-12mo, Novice, Bred-by, Open, Vets and Jr Handling.
Entries are $5.
Judi Rideout will email or mail out entry forms so you don’t have to get in line. Just bring it with you. If you don’t get one by Feb 28, email Judi at rideout@mtaonline.net. She will send one to you.
We will have some refreshments.

It will be a short meeting (about a half hour) because several people have to get back to grooming their dogs for the afternoon ring times.

AHGA will have a Board Meeting January 6th, 2008. This will be held at 12pm at Holly Lewis’ home in Eagle River, AK. General members are welcome to join us. Email Holly at aklewis@adk1.com for directions to her home.
Some of the topics to be covered will be our next B match, lure coursing tests in May and July, earth dog tests this fall, earth dog classes this summer, disaster seminar, and Hound Day events. If there is anything in particular you, as members, want to discuss, email me (blkmrble@mtaonline.net) or Judi (rideout@mtaonline.net), and I’ll put it on the agenda. And we hope to see you at the meeting!

Our next meeting will be Saturday, November 3, 2007, at Raven Hall, Palmer Fairgrounds. It will be held during the day while the CIKC obedience trials and other breed specialties are going on. A time has not be set yet. Once the show class schedules are out, we’ll post a time for our meeting.
This is our ANNUAL MEETING, so please plan to attend. We will be voting for officers and working on our plans for next year… our second B match, Lure coursing tests and trials, Hound Day, fun runs and hopefully Earth Dog tests.
Just a reminder that we will be having a general membership meeting on September 15th at Monica Alvarez’ home (directions below) located at 2622 West 27th Ave. We hope to call the meeting to order at 6:00 pm so please arrive a little earlier since we have lots to cover. Hope to see everyone there.
